We are beyond thrilled to announce the long-awaited opening of our new location inside the Atrium Court at Fashion Island. Fans of Gelato Paradiso will immediately recognize the old world décor, which is modeled after our shop in Laguna Beach’s Peppertree Lane. They will also recognize the bold flavors, prepared with considerable passion and expertise by our longtime master gelato maker, Pedro.
In addition to perennial favorites like gianduia (milk chocolate hazelnut), pistachio, and mandorla (toasted almond), Gelato Paradiso’s new shop features a rotating menu of seasonal offerings, including pumpkin and peppermint in winter, and blood orange in early spring. In summer, the menu will feature fourteen flavors of sorbetto – a refreshing dairy- and gluten-free alternative combining ripe seasonal fruit, pure water, and a touch of cane sugar.
Since setting up shop in 1999, Gelato Paradiso has been on a mission to produce some of the finest gelatos and sorbettos in the world. Building upon authentic Sicilian recipes passed down through generations, we source the finest nuts, chocolates, and extracts from Italy to create our hand-crafted treats. We also incorporate fresh, seasonal fruits into the daily lineup, which includes up to 30 distinct flavors. New batches of gelato and sorbetto are made daily at both of Gelato Paradiso’s shops in Laguna Beach and Fashion Island. All flavors are available in a cup, cone, shake, or affogato (drenched with Italian espresso), and can also be packaged for take-home.
